We have one of the most beautiful settings on the island here, and close by for the best sandy beaches and great walks to the Machrie Standing Stones and King's Caves. 

We can see over the Machrie Moor over to the Mull of Kintyre & to the north, the impressive Beinn Nuis. 

The Scottish National Trust has an accompanied  walk in the summer, over  the 'Three Beins' which I thoroughly recommend if your feeling reasonable fit !
